November 19 – “Radars and fighter planes MiG-31, able to control airspace over Luhansk oblast, were relocated to Russian-Ukrainian border. NATO has verified that Russian troops are concentrated at the border” – informed NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko.

November 19 – UK Embassy in Ukraine has decided to help Russia identify its tanks, located in Ukraine – the fact that Russia continues to deny (Embassy’s Twitter account). In particular, the Embassy is providing identification details of Т-72БМ tank, which is not in service in Ukrainian Armed Forces. Apart from this information, the Embassy is providing the photos of the tanks and the dates, when they were located in Ukraine.

November 19 – 40 thousand servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are currently fighting in Ukraine, – stated the Advisor to the President of Ukraine Ihor Smeshko. Not only insurgents but also regular Russian Army is fighting against us in the occupied areas. There are approximately 40 thousand well equipped soldiers. We are communication with the US government. To be honest, the US government is the only one supporting such an open dialogue with us and it is also trying to help us”, – said the Advisor.

November 19 – Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has received a draft decree by the President of Ukraine about single-sided demarcation of Ukraine-Russia state border, – stated the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Ostap Semerak. November 19 – “I would like to hear a 100% guarantee that no one will think about Ukraine’s entrance into NATO. We would like to hear that NATO will stop getting closer to the Russian borders. However, unfortunately, we did not hear such words. And this forces us to be nervous,” stated the Press Secretary of RF president, Pieskov. He added that “the longer our national interests are in danger the longer we will reply.” Head of NATO InformOffice in Moscow, Robert Pshel stated that the Alliance was surprised to hear the statement of the Press Secretary Dmytro Pieskov about the necessity of providing Russia with a guarantee of Ukraine’s non-entrance into NATO. The first reason,I think, is known to everyone, that as of today, Ukraine is not acandidate to NATO – such is its position. The second surprising matter lies in the fact that all issues which concern the acceptance of a certain country into NATO, may only be discussed by members of the Alliance. It is not known that Russia is a member of NATO, therefore such a statement of a representative of Russia evokes surprise,” he explained. Later at a briefing in Brussels, the representative of General Secretary of NATO, Oana Lunhesku also voiced her surprise about Pieskov’s statement. “Such a statement by the Russian representative evokes surprise. It is disconnected from reality and goes contrary to all international agreements signed by RF.” “NATO respects the sovereign decisions of Ukraine. Russia should do likewise,” emphasized Lunhesku: “As to anything which relates to the issue of entering NATO, the leaders of the Alliance clearly specified at the summit in Wales that the “open door” policy of the alliance is one of its main achievements and that the decision to expand its membership is only done by NATO itself,” added Lunhesku.
