November 17 – Ukraine has reduced its gas consumption compared to October 2013 by 27.2% (since June 2014 “Gazprom” has cut off Russian gas supply to Ukraine). Coal consumption in October 2014 has decreased compared to October 2013 by 34.5%. To meet the needs of thermal power plants as a result of closure of 80% of mines in Donbas, for the first time in a long time Ukraine began to import steam coal.
November 17– “DPR” and “LPR” fighters have the intention to demand that their “borders” be fixated boundaries of all terrritories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. This was stated by one of the leaders of Donetsk fighters Denys Pushilin. Pushilin explained this in terms of “economic ties of the regions.”
November 17 – The ex-advisor of the president, the former head of the Service of External Reconnaissance, General Mykola Malomuzh says that the fighters have substantially moved from the demarcation line which was set by the “Minsk Protocol”. “In terms of the direction of the fighters due to the non-occuppied, not controlled territories, or as a result of fighting, they have moved some 20-30, and in some places 70 kilometers, from the line of demarcation of September 5. “Realistically, this is a seizure,” said the general, “… we already know the plans and Russia is directing the fighting units of “DPR” and “LPR” on seizing new objects. These include the Donetsk Airport, Pisky, Avdiyivka, Shchastia, Debaltseve, Mariupol – 8 basically strategic objects aiming at fighting and Russian structures,” noted Malomuzh. In his words, under the guise of humanitarian assistance, during all of last week, Russia brought “filled with amed technology tanks “Hrad” “Tiulpan”, BTRs, and new contingents of special troops.

As long as they are not being fulfilled, there is no sense in signing a new document.”
