‘Moab’ strike kills dozens in Afghanistan
A huge US bomb, known as the Mother Of All Bombs (Moab), dropped on a tunnel complex used by Islamic State in Afghanistan killed at least 36 people, the Afghan defence ministry says. The ministry says no civilians were affected but former President Hamid Karzai called it an “inhuman and most brutal misuse of our country”.
