The U.S government is aware of the crash in eastern Ukraine of a Malaysian Airlines jet and is seeking more information, a State Department spokesperson said Thursday. “At this point we don’t have any confirmed information about casualties, the cause or additional details,” spokesperson Jen Psaki told reporters at a press briefing. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to those on board, their families and their loved ones.
