Today in Brussels, Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma, during the meeting with President of the European Council Donald Tusk, expressed hope that the Minsk negotiations on the solution to the military conflict in Ukraine will end with the result that will allow for termination of the armed conflict and further negotiations by diplomatic means with a uniform and steadfast position of the EU. “The war can’t go on, peace should finally be restored in Ukraine,” said L.Straujuma. …read more
