WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel (AHN’-geh-lah MEHR’-kuhl) are trying for a public display of unity despite a potential split over arming Ukrainian fighters to battle Russian-backed separatists more effectively.
