The bills adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on the special status of some raions in Donbas and amnesty for those participating in the events in the CTO area on 16 September 2014 contradict both the Constitution of Ukraine and other legislation. Moreover, representatives of the so-called LPR and DNR currently have no intentions to comply with them but the alternative to the adoption of these laws can only be to continue the war, for which Ukraine is not ready.
