From 4 to 8 October the Moldovan capital Chisinau is hosting the 13th world meeting of the Bulgarian media. The forum is organized again by the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and the Association of Bulgarian Media in the world. Moldova has been selected as a venue, because the region of Bessarabia is the home of the largest and most compact community of ethnic Bulgarians. There are 80,000 Bulgarians in Moldova who together with Bulgarians in the neighboring regions of Ukraine come close to a quarter million. …read more
