”Antarctica shall be used for peaceful purposes,freedom of scientific investigation in Antarctica shall continue,projects, scientific observations and personnel shall be freely exchanged, the position of states regarding territorial sovereignty is not prejudiced, nuclear explosions and radioactive waste disposal are forbidden, and Parties may inspect each other’s facilities at any time,” the Treaty states.
