Yatseniuk promises to allocate UAH 90 bln to finance security and defense spheres

Total state budget expenditures on the security and defense spheres have reached nearly UAH 90 billion.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said this during the presentation of amendments to the draft budget for 2015 in the parliament early on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The total amount of funding for security and defense is UAH 90 billion,” he said.
Consequently, UAH 80 billion of these funds will be directly provided for security and defense, UAH 1.8 billion will be spent on payments for mobilized persons, UAH 2.9 billion on other institutions of the defense sphere, and UAH 6 billion on the purchase and repair of military equipment.
