War in Eastern Ukraine tops 2014 world events survey in Poland

The Poles considered the war in Eastern Ukraine to be the top world event in 2014 while they place Donald Tusk’s election as the president of European Union as their nation’s top annual event.
These results are taken from the survey conducted in the first half of last December by the research center of public opinion (CBOS), reports Polish news agency PAP.
The war in Ukraine undoubtedly holds the top place in the rating of world events for 36 % of Poland’s respondents, the survey says.
