Verkhovna Rada does not accept Sheremeta’s resignation

The Verkhovna Rada has not accepted the resignation of Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Minister Pavlo Sheremeta.
Only 213 MPs voted for his resignation on Tuesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
UDAR representatives believe that if Sheremeta does not go to work, he should be dismissed under an article of the Labor Code. UDAR faction leader Vitaliy Kovalchuk said that MPs want Sheremeta to come to parliament, report on his activity and explain the reason for his resignation.
As reported, Sheremeta tendered his resignation on August 20.
