Ukroboronprom military products included in NATO Logistics Catalogue: Company CEO

Products used for military purposes, produced by Ukraine`s major state-owned arms manufacturer Ukroboronprom, have been included in the NATO Master Catalogue of References for Logistics (NMCRL), according to the company`s General Director Roman Romanov.
”Ukroboronprom products have been published in the catalogue, and they are available to our western partners,” Romanov said at a press briefing in Kyiv.
He added that 60 company experts have been awarded certificates on quality assurance of defense products.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukroboronprom`s general director had stated that the company intended to complete the transition to NATO standards for the production of armaments and military hardware by 2020. The task would require UAH 21 billion in financing, according to Romanov. In early March 2015, Ukroboronprom gained access to the NMCRL, which enabled Ukrainian military and industrial enterprises to enter the European armaments market, the company`s management emphasized.
UNIAN memo. State-run Ukroboronprom concern was established in 2010 to ensure effective operations and management of state-owned business entities that develop, manufacture, sell, repair, modernize and scrap weapons, military and special equipment and ammunition, and participate in military and technical cooperation. The concern incorporates over a hundred enterprises of Ukraine`s defense industry.
