Ukrgazvydobuvannia launches production of Euro-4 diesel fuel

The country`s largest gas company, Ukrgazvydobuvannia, has started production of the eco-friendly Euro-4 diesel fuel at the Shebelynka plant for processing gas condensate and oil, company`s chief Oleh Prokhorenko wrote on Facebook.

”We have launched Euro-4 diesel fuel at the Shebelynka plant… This is the end of the era of non-eco-friendly high sulfur fuel… This investment has already paid off,” he wrote.

According to the company, the first batch of Euro-4 diesel fuel will be supplied to final consumers through its own retail network, as well as to cover the needs of the company`s truck fleet and special equipment.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrgazvydobuvannia implemented projects on the transition from the Euro-2 class gasoline to Euro 4 worth up to UAH 20 million, as well as with the subsequent transition to Euro 5 with the total cost of UAH 5 million. The company sells its gasoline at auctions and through a network of filling stations.

The planned monthly output of Euro-4 diesel fuel production should amount to 8,000-10,000 tonnes.
