Ukrainian troops take on offensive defense, as they can change their positions, spokesman of the Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Volodymyr Poliovyi told at the briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Ukrainian troops take on offensive defense in the areas of main strikes of terrorist and Russian troops,” he said.
Such tactics, according to Poliovyi, means that “we can move away from our positions, launch fire attack, flank and bypass strike, retake these positions, go behind enemy lines as a part of our sabotage and reconnaissance groups.”
In general, he said, the situation on all the fronts of confrontation is under the control of the military leadership and the leadership of the state.
