Ukrainian Defense Industry Ukroboronprom to provide the army with 100 UAV complexes per year

The press service of the Ukrainian state concern Ukroboronprom (Ukrainian Defense Industry) states that the part of concern OJSC Meridian (Kyiv) is ready for the mass production of more than 100 BPAK-MP-1 (each complex consists of three drones, a ground control and surveillance station, an antenna system and charging devices) unmanned aerial vehicles per year.

“The complex was developed and introduced in production together with scientists from the National Technical University “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.” During this year we have fully established their production and are ready to provide the army with more than 100 drones a year. For this purpose the enterprise deployed a special production line,” the press service said citing Meridian head Viacheslav Protsenko.

In 2016 the plant manufactured eleven 100 BPAK-MP-1 complexes that is thirty three drones and accompanying equipment.
