Ukrainian businessman Akhmetov sells concentrating plant in occupied Donbas

Financial and industrial SCM Group, owned by Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov, has sold 99.98% of the shares in the Kolosnikovskaya Central Concentrating Plant, located in the occupied area of Donetsk region.

This was stated in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market.

According to the report, the new owner of the plant is Viktor Chmilev, who is said to be registered in the town of Makiyivka, where the plant is located.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

It was also reported that Chmilev has replaced SCM representative Oleksandr Onyshchenko on the Supervisory Board of the company.

In addition, the Supervisory Board appointed Mykola Bokov, Makiyivka resident, as general director of the concentrating plant.

All the transfers took place in August this year.

As reported by UNIAN earlier, SCM acquired a 99.98% stake in Kolosnikovskaya Central Concentrating Plant in January 2014, prior to the outbreak of hostilities in the east of Ukraine.

SCM Group comprises Metinvest and DTEK, Vega Telecommunications Group, Segodnya Multimedia publishing holding, TRK Ukraine, ESTA Holding (real estate), Ukrainskiy Retail (retail), Corum machine-building holding, and additional companies. The business is controlled by Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov.
