Ukrainian border guards still come under fire from Russia

The positions of the Ukrainian government forces still come under fire from Russian territory and attempts are being made by Russian mercenaries to illegally enter Ukraine.
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
“In particular, yesterday Russians from the village of Manotsky in the Russian Federation shelled with artillery and mortars our border units near Stanytsia Luhanska. Tonight the Uspenka checkpoint in Donetsk region came under fire from three directions, including from Russia,” he said.
According to Lysenko, this again confirms the coordination of aggression by Russia.
In addition, according to the National Security and Defense Council, over the past 24 hours Russians fired at Ukrainian border guards near the Krasna Talivka, Milove and Ivanivka checkpoints.
