Ukrainian banks see rise in share of foreign capital in Feb

The share of foreign capital in solvent Ukrainian banks` charter capital grew by 0.4 percentage points (pp) in February 2016, to 43.2% as of March 1, 2016, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
The data does not include the insolvent banks` information.
At the same time, the share of foreign capital in the solvent banks` charter capital has shrunk by 0.1 pp since the beginning of the year.
The number of the operating banks with foreign capital in Ukraine did not change in February and was 41 organizations, including 17 banks with 100% foreign capital.
As UNIAN reported, the share of foreign capital in working banks` charter capital in January 2016 declined by 0.5 pp, to 42.8% as of February 1, 2016.
