Ukraine`s public debt up $67.1 bln since year-start

The total amount of Ukraine`s public and publicly guaranteed debt in June has risen to $67.1 billion, which is 2.5%, or $1.610 billion, more than in the beginning of 2016, the Ministry of Finance reported on its website.
According to the ministry, the total amount of public and publicly guaranteed debt as of late June amounted to UAH 1.668 trillion in the hryvnia equivalent, which is 6.1%, or UAH 95.952 billion, more than at year-start.
According to the data released, in June, the amount of public and publicly guaranteed debt in U.S. dollars fell by 0.33%, while in the hryvnia equivalent it dropped by 0.9%.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the total amount of public and publicly guaranteed debt of Ukraine as of December 31, 2015 amounted to $65.506 billion, which was UAH 1.572 in the hryvnia equivalent.
