Ukraine`s intel: New military hardware arrives in Donbas from Russia

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry`s GUR Main Intelligence Department has received new proof that Russia continues supplying military hardware and weapons to Donbas militants.

A freight train with military hardware, namely three tanks, two 122mm Grad systems, two Ural trucks, and 160 tonnes of diesel fuel has recently arrived at the railway station in the militant-controlled town of Debaltseve, the intelligence service said.

The Ukrainian side briefed representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission on these facts.

Moreover, the Ukrainian intelligence service reported about casualties among servicemen from the units of the 1st Army Corps (Donetsk) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on April 14-16.
Thirteen militants were injured and some were killed in road accidents caused by driving under the influence and in self-harm due to alcohol intoxication and narcotic abuse.

What is more, pending a new summer holiday season, commanders of some units of the Russian occupying troops have intensified their struggle for control over recreation centers located on the coast of the Sea of Azov. In particular, there was a combat clash between two units of the Armed Forces of Russia on April 15 for control over the Alexandria recreation center in the village of Bezimenne. Only personal intervention by Commander of the 1st Army Corps Major General of the Armed Forces of Russia Valeriy Asapov prevented casualties during the shooting spree.
