Ukraine tries to agree with militants on humanitarian aid for population

Working groups of the Joint Center for settlement of the situation along the boundary line within the frames of consultations are leading negotiations for delivery of Ukrainian humanitarian aid to the territory, seized by terrorists.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“One of the main items of negotiations of our Joint Center is delivery of the humanitarian aid to peaceful population, who are the most vulnerable during the cold weather, when there is no electric and gas supply,” Lysenko said.
According to him, not a single time “humanitarian aid” got to residents through militants. “All humanitarian aid, which we try to deliver to territories, controlled by militants, is stopped and terrorists simply take it away, so it does not go to simple people,” the Spokesman emphasized.
