Ukraine plans to purchase up to four billion cubic meters of gas from Russia this year and has the money to pay for this gas.
Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan said this after productive gas negotiations involving the European Commission in Brussels, the 24 news channel reported.
“Ukraine plans to buy up to four billion cubic meters of gas. This is our benchmark… We have the necessary funds,” he said.
