Ukraine has already spent UAH 19 billion on the maintenance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the National Guard.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said this at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Wednesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The unprecedented amount of spending on the army: UAH 19 billion is what we collected and funded the Armed Forces and the National Guard,” he said.
In particular, he said, hundreds of pieces of military equipment were purchased.
