Ukraine sees agriculture output shrink in four months

In particular, agricultural enterprises for the reporting period increased output by 0.1% over the period under review, while private farmers saw their farm produce output shrink by 0.6%.

The data is given in comparable prices of the year 2010, it does not include reports from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone in the country`s east, the service said in a statement.

Earlier, agricultural production in Ukraine grew by 6.1% in 2016 against 2015. In particular, agricultural enterprises boosted output by 9.8% in 2016 from 2015, while private farmers` output rose by 1.5%.
