Ukraine-Russia gas talks lasted almost ten hours

Ukraine and Russia, through the mediation of the European Union, have not yet agreed on gas supply this winter.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak reported the interim results of trilateral gas negotiations between the EU, Ukraine and Russia, which lasted nearly ten hours and ended in Brussels early on Thursday, Ukrinform’s correspondent reported.
He said that the sides would continue the talks on the evening of Thursday, October 30.
Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan and Vice President of the European Commission Gunther Oettinger are expected to hold briefings in Brussels at 09.30.
