One Ukrainian soldier was killed and nine others were wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to a spokesman for the Ukrainian Presidential Administration.
”There was one killed in action (KIA) and nine wounded in action (WIA),” Andriy Lysenko, administration spokesman for Anti-Terrorist Operation issues, said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, a UNIAN correspondent reported.
As UNIAN reported earlier, combined Russian separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 76 times in the past 24 hours – 37 times in the Donetsk sector, 27 times in the Mariupol sector and 12 times in the Luhansk sector.
