One Ukrainian soldier was killed and six were wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to a spokesman for the Ukrainian Presidential Administration.
”There was one killed in action (KIA) and six wounded in action (WIA),” Andriy Lysenko, administration spokesman for Anti-Terrorist Operation issues, said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, a UNIAN correspondent reported.
”It all happened during the attacks. The soldier was killed in the village of Opytne. Meanwhile, one soldier in the village of Novo-Oleksandrivka, four soldiers in the town of Avdiyivka and another in the village of Shyrokyne were wounded,” Lysenko said.
