One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another was wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to a spokesman for the Ukrainian Presidential Administration.
”There was one killed in action (KIA) and one wounded in action (WIA),” Andriy Lysenko, administration spokesman for Anti-Terrorist Operation issues, stated at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday, an UNIAN correspondent reported.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 44 times in the past 24 hours.
