Ukraine proposes Slovakia increase reverse gas supplies

NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has proposed expanding gas transport capacity on the Ukrainian-Slovak border, the press service of the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has said.
“After analyzing the results of two-month operation of the new Vojany-Uzhgorod gas pipeline on the border of Ukraine and Slovakia, Naftogaz of Ukraine proposed a technical decision to the operator of the Slovak gas transmission system (GTS) Eustream that will help significantly expand the capacity of this gas transportation route,” reads the report.
Naftogaz said it hoped that the Slovak operator will support the introduction of new technology and increase the capacity of the pipeline that consistently ensures reverse gas supplies at the current level.
