Ukraine MFA hopes Netherlands to complete ratification of EU-Ukraine deal

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin hopes that the Netherlands will complete ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, despite the results of the referendum.
”Yes, I must admit that the result of the referendum is very negative,” he told journalists in the framework of the Kyiv Security Forum.
Klimkin said that the referendum had not been directed against Ukraine, and now a referendum on a transatlantic free trade agreement is being prepared, ”which is a very serious challenge.”
”The Netherlands are continuing consultations on how to get out of this situation. I hope, following these consultations, instruments of ratification will be transferred to Brussels. Perhaps, with certain political declarations,” the minister said.
