Ukraine, Israel to hold third round of free trade talks soon

Ukrainian Trade Representative Nataliya Mykolska has announced Ukraine and Israel will hold a third round of talks within the week on the creation of a free trade zone.
”We`ve had a new meeting with Israel`s Ambassador Eliav Belotserkovsky. We mainly touched upon what specific steps could be taken right now to boost bilateral trade. In a week, there will be a new, third round of talks with Israel on a free trade area, and therefore preparations are under way. There cannot be too much free trade,” she wrote on Facebook on Monday.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine resumed talks with Israel early in September 2015 on the establishment of a free trade zone. The consideration of the signing of a free trade agreement between Ukraine and Israel had been postponed in the summer of 2013.
Late in December 2015, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced that Ukraine and Israel had agreed to introduce free trade in the first half of 2016.
