Ukraine intel: Russian supervisors unhappy with DPR leader Zakharchenko

Russian supervisors criticize leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People`s Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko`s performance, and Vladimir Putin`s aide Vladislav Surkov visited Donbas to discuss the current situation with Russian DPR-based commanders, DPR senior officials and businessmen, according to the Ukrainian military intelligence service.
Putin`s aide had a private meeting with DPR leaders in the militant-held town of Snizhne on April 29, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry`s GUR Main Intelligence Department said. Deputy Commander of the Russian army Colonel General Alexander Lentsov, Commander of the 58th army of the Russian Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Andrey Gurulyov and Commander of the 1st army corps of the Russian Armed Forces Major-General Valery Asapov and four local businessmen were present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the Russian supervisors harshly criticized Zakharchenko`s activity and his inability to perform along with the Russian command`s instructions, namely his failure to oust Ukrainian troops from positions near the town of Avdiyivka and improper distribution of Russian financial and military aid.
They also focused on the current situation along the contact line and outlined further steps. In particular, they discussed the condition of local industrial infrastructure and the relocation of production facilities from the occupied towns of Khartsyzsk, Torez, and Shaktarsk to Russian territory.
The Ukrainian intelligence service claims that the so-called DPR Defense Minister Vladimir Kononov will be commissioned to arrange further acts of provocation near the towns of Yasynuvata, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Dokuchayevsk and the villages of Novotroyitske, Mayorsk, and Zaitseve.
