Ukraine in talks on electricity imports from Moldova and Belarus

The Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry is holding talks on electricity supply not only with Russia, but also with Moldova and Belarus.
Energy and Coal Industry Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn said this at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The Ukrainian side has held negotiations with other countries, apart from Russia. These are Moldova and Belarus. So I hope that in the near future the solution will be found and we will be able to import electricity from neighboring countries,” Demchyshyn said.
