According to the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the relevant decision was made during a meeting of all States members of the organization in Brussels on June 23, where Ukraine was represented by Deputy Infrastructure Minister Viktor Dovhan.
He also expressed hope that this step would contribute to the signing of the Open Skies agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.
Ukraine will preside at two meetings during the year, the report says.
UNIAN memo. European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation was founded in 1960 with the main aim of developing pan-European air traffic management system in the framework of the Single European Sky.
Ukraine is a member of the organization since 2004.
