Ukraine greenlights beef imports from Poland

Heads of Ukraine`s State Service for food safety and consumer protection and the Chief Veterinary Inspectorate of Poland have signed a veterinary certificate, which gives permission for Polish-produced beef to be imported to Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian side.
”During the meeting, a veterinary certificate has been signed for the export of beef (excluding mechanically separated meat) from the Republic of Poland to Ukraine,” the press service of the Ukrainian regulator wrote on Facebook.
From the Ukrainian side, the document was signed by the head of the State Service for food safety and consumer protection, Volodymyr Lapa, while from Poland it was the country`s chief veterinarian Krzysztof Jazdzewski.
As UNIAN reported earlier, during the April Ukrainian-Danish Business Forum, Ukraine signed an agreement recognizing a veterinary certificate for the import of beef from Denmark.
