Ukraine customs service begins clearance of Russian ‘humanitarian convoy’

Ukrainian border guards and customs officers have launched the clearance of Russian humanitarian cargo at the Donetsk checkpoint in the Rostov region, Interfax-Ukraine has reported, citing the State Border Service of Ukraine.
“At 14.15, the Ukrainian side started the border and customs clearance of Russian humanitarian cargo,” the service’s press office said.
This information was also confirmed by the information and analytical center of the National Security and Defense Council, Ukrainska Pravda reported.
“At 14.15, Ukrainian border guards and customs officers began the clearance of the first truck in the service area of the Donetsk border crossing point in the Rostov region,” NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko said.
