Ukraine can get $1.85 bln from Japan if reforms implemented

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe says his country will keep its promise regarding $1.88 billion in financial aid to Ukraine if it honors its commitments on reform.
”We will continue with plans to send $1.85 billion in an economic package to Ukraine for reform,” he said at a joint press conference with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Tokyo on Wednesday, April 6.
Poroshenko assured that Ukraine would speed up its reform process, Abe said, adding that he appreciated such a resolute intention by the Ukrainian president.
Japan, in its turn, intends to stick to its commitments if Ukraine continues conducting domestic reform, Abe added.
