Ukraine beats Belarus 2-0 in Euro 2016 qualifier

Ukraine’s national football team has earned the first victory in the qualifying tournament of the Euro 2016 European Football Championship.
Mykhailo Fomenko’s side beat Belarus 2-0 at the Barysaw Arena stadium on Thursday, Ukrinform reports.
In other Group C matches, Slovakia defeated current European champions Spain 2-1 in Zilina, whereas Macedonia beat Luxembourg 3-2 in Skopje.
Ukraine will play its next game on October 12 against Macedonia. The match will be held at Arena Lviv.
Team standings in Group C: Slovakia – 6 points, Spain – 3, Ukraine – 3, Macedonia – 3, Belarus – 1, Luxembourg – 1.
