Twenty-six more people released from captivity – Poroshenko

Militants have released 26 more prisoners of war, including six in Horlivka and 20 in Donetsk.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko wrote this on his page on Facebook.
“I have just been told that they have released six prisoners of war who were held in Horlivka, including a former employee of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the director of a children’s boarding house. Twenty servicemen who were held in Donetsk have also been released,” he said.
He said that the state would fight for every Ukrainian and release all of its citizens.
According to the General Staff, during a truce, as of September 9, 648 hostages have been released from the captivity of militants, and the work on the release of 500 more people is underway.
