Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov will make an official visit to Norway on September 10-12, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada has reported.
The purpose of the visit is to participate in the European Conference of Presidents of Parliaments.
“The program of the visit envisages a speech by the Verkhovna Rada chairman before the participants of the conference as part of the discussion ‘Democracy, Sovereignty and Security in Europe,'” reads the statement.
In addition, Turchynov will meet with PACE President Anne Brasseur, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Ilkka Kanerva, as well as with the heads of the parliaments of European countries.
