Sergey Toropov has been appointed Russia`s charge d`affaires in Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry told an UNIAN correspondent.
”Sergey Toropov is charge d`affaires of Russia in Ukraine,” the ministry said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree today, July 28, dismissing Mikhail Zurabov from his post of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Ukraine.
Zurabov was appointed to this position on August 5, 2009.
