Most terrorists have deserted from the unit, which was to attack the Donetsk airport.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information and Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“More than 70% of personnel of the terrorist unit, which was created from the former police officers for assault of the Donetsk airport, deserted,” Lysenko said.
He added that over the past day, terrorists fired three times the positions of our troops at the Donetsk airport with artillery, mortars and tanks, but Ukrainian military control the object irremovably.
