TASS: Russia`s Aerospace Force to receive over 100 new warplanes, helicopters in 2017

The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Force says that his force will receive over 100 new warplanes and combat helicopters in 2017, according to Russian news agency TASS.
”We shall receive new equipment – T-50 fighter aircraft, new helicopters,” Force Commander-in-Chief Col.-Gen. Viktor Bondarev said on Sunday, June 5, TASS reported.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced that the Russian Defense Ministry got 243 modern aircraft and 90 air defense missile systems and complexes within the 2015 state defense order.
According to him, the ministry`s plans for 2016 included ”putting on combat duty five missile regiments equipped with modern missile systems, putting into service with the strategic aviation forces two modernized Tu-160 and seven Tu-95MS bombers.”
