Switzerland toughens sanctions against Russia, calls for peace dialogue

The Swiss Federal Council has toughened sanctions against Russia, TSN reported.
In particular, the Swiss authorities extended the ban on the supply of double purpose goods, in addition, Switzerland promises to prevent the use of its territory for smuggling of the goods fallen under the sanctions to Russia.
Switzerland, currently holding the presidency of the OSCE, has once again stressed that it does not recognize the annexation of Crimea by Russia, and expressed concern about the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.
At the same time, Bern stands for a peaceful solution to the situation in Ukraine and calls for dialogue.
Earlier, Switzerland imposed sanctions against 18 Russian companies and 26 Russians.
