Surplus of Ukraine`s consolidated budget down fourfold in 1Q

The consolidated budget of Ukraine has a surplus at the level of UAH 3.432 billion in the first quarter of 2016, four times less than the surplus of UAH 14.236 billion for the same period of the previous year.
According to data published on the website of the Ukrainian Finance Ministry, the consolidated budget revenues in January-March compared to the same period of the previous year increased by 16.5% up to UAH 163.435 billion, expenses – by 27% to UAH 160.004 billion.
According to this information, the state budget of Ukraine was executed with a deficit of UAH 11.008 billion in the first quarter, while in the same period of the previous year the state budget surplus was recorded at UAH 4.435 billion.
State budget revenues in January-March compared to the same period last year increased by 14,1% — up to UAH 129.157 billion, expenses – by 28.9% to UAH 140.166 billion.
