Russia continues to increase its military presence in the temporarily occupied Crimea near the administrative border of Kherson region, ekspres.ua has reported.
In particular, Russian troops were deployed from the Karkinit Bay to the Arabat Spit.
The Ukrainian State Border Service has confirmed this report.
Border guards counted 50 tanks and 100 armored vehicles of the Russian army along the administrative border.
“Nearly 4,000 personnel are not on the administrative border, but at a distance of three to ten kilometers. There are tanks, armored personnel carriers, and multiple launch rocket systems,” the head of the media liaisons department of the State Border Service administration, Oleh Slobodian, said.
