Slovakia confirms intention to supply reverse gas to Ukraine

Slovakia confirms its intention to supply gas to Ukraine to the amount of 10 billion cu m a year.
State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Peter Burian told a press conference in Lviv, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We understand to which extent the gas issue is important for Ukraine. Therefore, I confirm obligations of my country to supply reverse fuel at 10 billion cu m a year,” Burian noted.
As reported by Ukrinform, a meeting of the Visegrad Group and Ukraine was held in Lviv.
Diplomats discussed possibility of assisting Ukraine in implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU. The matter also concerned favoring in implementation of the judicial reforms, fighting corruption, and in the energy sphere. At the same time, participants in the meeting said that they do not impose on Ukraine their ideas or models, but on the contrary, welcome its initiatives and declare support to each of them.
