Artillery shelling of Donetsk resumed on Friday, a Ukrinform correspondent, who visited the scene, has reported.
Sporadic gunfire is heard in the Kuibyshevsky, Kyivsky, Petrovsky and Voroshylovsky districts of the city. The city center is recovering from the shock experienced yesterday during shelling with multiple launch rocket systems.
The reporter, who visited the scene of the shelling, said that shells were launched from the western side of the city, probably from Maryinka.
As reported, central Donetsk came under fire on October 2, at around 17.00, with a Swiss citizen killed and five people injured in the shelling. Over ten administrative and residential buildings and a shopping mall came under fire.
