Senchenko stands for speeding up getting of combatant status by soldiers

People’s deputy of Ukraine from the Batkivshchyna party and Chairman of the Provisional Investigatory Commission on events in Ilovaisk Andriy Senchenko intends to submit to the parliament a bill on criminal responsibility for attempts of hampering in getting a combatant status, as well as for facts of assistance in getting this status by persons, who were there for several days.
He told journalists before the beginning of a meeting of the Provisional Investigatory Commission on Ilovaisk, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill, according to which persons will be brought to criminal responsibility for the attempts to hamper in getting a status of the ATO participant by soldiers, participating in the operation, as well as for facts of assistance in getting such a status by people, who were there for several days,” Senchenko said.
